I work with individuals, couples and groups in therapy
I supervise therapists and I teach at the Norwegian Gestalt Institute training program for Gestalt therapy, where I am now also Associate Professor. In my doctoral research I created a Gestalt Integrative method for couple therapy and I currently do advanced training programs nationally and internationally. In 2024 I founded the Gestalt Integrative Institute, which is a created to support couples, therapists and supervisors worldwide.
I started in Gestalt therapy and eventually in training to be a Gestalt therapist myself after a breakdown of a partnership with children involved. My research journey began as a curiosity for relationships and the qualities of contact between people. The initial title was “The need to belong. Relational trauma and the healing potential in a relationship” referring to my personal story and experiences in what was then a new marriage. I have now been married for 19 years and my insights are brought forward in the conducted research as well as in my therapeutic practice. How we influence and are influenced, how we form in relationships, is a cornerstone in Gestalt therapy and continues to be a private and professional inspiration and motivation.
You are most welcome to contact me if you would like to request therapy or if you have further queries about my practice. I prefer to be contacted by mail.
